Executive biography
Fawad Sarwar is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Optirex, a veteran enterprise IT executive with boardroom-tested experience dating back to 1988. His career has been built inside operating businesses rather than around them — owning budgets, uptime, audits and the consequences of every architecture decision.
For more than 20 years he served as General Manager and Assistant General Manager of IT for a leading international Life Sciences group, where he was accountable for ERP ownership, multi-site infrastructure, network security and executive reporting across regional operations.
Optirex was founded to give mid-market organizations access to that same standard of judgment: SAP-led ERP architecture, disciplined implementation governance, and reporting that leadership teams can act on with confidence.
Leadership philosophy
Keep the delivery footprint as small as the business can absorb. Remove customizations that damage the upgrade path. Make the reporting truthful before making it beautiful. Transfer capability to the internal team so the organization is not dependent on any single consultant.
